In the Wake of the 2019 Nigerian general elections where President Muhammadu Buhari of APC retained his seat as President of the Federal Republic Nigeria defeating his Close Rival and opposition party , Atiku Abubakar of PDP. Many have condemned the results due to the Faulty electoral system, Massive Rigging and Electoral violence accross all States of the federation.
The truth is , we can do little or Nothing to stop those in power but as the Saying goes “Remove the Log in your eye before removing the speck in another man’s eye” . Individually , in our Various Sphere of Life are we Leaders?
Why hit our heads and Complain about the present government’s failure to alleviate poverty when we have a way out at our finger tips – Entrepreneurship!
Entrepreneurship should NOT be seen as just a means to make money or earn a living but should be seen as “a way of Life” where we AIM AT MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND CITIZENS AT LARGE.
Two things that will affect your productivity as an entrepreneur are not being “Far-Sighted” and “Lack of Competition”.
Do not Limit your self to the energies around but Look beyond the ” now “, look towards meeting the needs of Your immediate environment through new innovations and Ideas!
In today’s Youth Cathecism, With the Aid of a Projector The Host , Rev. Fr Martinos Guided the youths through the Program , THE PLATFORM hosted by Pastor Poju Oyemade , Senior Pastor , Visionary, The Platform ,Nigeria. A forum where Nigerians who have distinguished themselves and Met a particular need in the society are been celebrated and advertised.
I’ll Highlight just two of them for today ,Mrs Temi Giwa Tubosun and Mr Femi Taiwo.
TEMI GIWA TUBOSON ( Life Bank)
A Nigerian-American health manager and founder of Life Bank (Formerly known as One percent Project), a business enterprise in Nigeria working to improve access to blood transfusion in the country and set up to tackle the problem of blood shortage.
She was inspired by the birth of her first child and the complications from the experience!
Amongst all Accolades She was listed as one of the BBC 100 Women in the world in 2014, the third and youngest Nigerian in that List alongside Veteran broadcaster, Funmi Iyanda and Obiageli Ezekwesili – Former minister of education.

FEMI TAIWO(Software Developer)
Femi Taiwo is another Leader ,a young Nigerian, the Co-founder and CTO of INITS ,a software developing company focused on creating innovative and useful solutions to the Unique Nigerian environment.
His Company built OPEN VR, the software deployed by The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) across all the 36 states of the Federation to run the just concluded General Elections. He offered this software free of charge to INEC at a time when people were making billions of Naira from Government contracts. He decided to do it because it is second nature for him to Solve problems! Luckily for him then INEC had another young Visionary in charge of Technology and decided to give INITS( Femi’s Company) a chance to prove themselves.
You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you The Millions of Naira he’s earning from this Software as at now plus recommendations to other African and European countries!
He also designed an Insurance Claims Management system deployed at National scale!
The question is – Can somebody be a beneficiary of your Labour/Idea❓
